The Berry Dairy Days
The Berry Dairy Days is one of the oldest festivals in Skagit County celebrating our history and impressive agricultural & farming communities. The Berry Dairy Days is a weekend full of fun for the whole family, including fresh strawberry shortcake, food and craft vendors, the City of Burlington fireworks show, the Fred Meyers Grand Parade, Kiwanis Salmon BBQ, free outdoor movies, live music presented by The Skagit Casino Resort, a nostalgic Berry Cool Car Show, and more!
Dubbed the "granddaddy of the Northwest Independence Day Celebration," this unique extravaganza celebrates the history of both the beginning of a new nation and the rugged heritage of Sedro Woolley. The residents of the town play host to nearly 10,000 celebrants in a seven-day event the culminates with a grand parade and a fireworks display on Independence Day. Other celebrations include the queen coronation, chainsaw competition, logging show, bluegrass, carnival, and more.
Shipwreck Days is a giant sale on July 16th from 8am to 4pm. This event features 200+ vendors in booths along Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. Each booth brings something new and usually very eclectic. There are also food stands that serve a variety of delicious treats!
Skagit County Fair
The annual Skagit County Fair in Mount Vernon is a fun event for the whole family! Every year the fair includes local entertainment, a carnival, farm animals, displays, a Kid Zone and more!
The Festival Of Family Farms
The Festival Of Family Farms is all about learning what it takes to run a farm, from growing crops to feeding animals. It is a family-friendly event with lots of fun for everyone! The activities include farm tours, harvest markets, gardening demonstrations, free samples, kids' activities, corn and hay mazes, animal exhibits, pumpkin patches, scenic tours, and more!
