What's Up, Dock?
For shutterbugs that like a more dynamic landscape, check out the lovely wharf on the Swinomish Channel. The La Conner waterfront is a Victorian-era village with plenty of people-watching and beautifully restored, vintage wooden boats. The waterway is equally lively with seals, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, and otters.
Go With the Flow
With 4,000 feet along the clear, blue Skagit River and an enticing forest to explore, Rasar State Park is camera ready. Superior bird watching opportunities are available on the sandy shoreline. On the Field Trail, you've got an excellent chance of spotting deer grazing. Rasar State Park is located on Cape Horn Road near Concrete.
